Get your mind out the gutter….it’s summer and its MUY CALIENTE. Beach, Pool and Sun all up on your hair and well the dryness is real more than ever right now. I am going to share with you some tips and tricks on how to have beautiful hair all summer. Trick 1: Get wet first. Yes it seems like kind of odd to wet your hair before you go in the beach or pool. But here is why, when you wet it with normal water and add in a deep conditioner or leave in or any type of conditioner that you like. The sun actually helps it penetrate much better. Add into that it also serves as a barrier to protect the hair from salt water and Chlorine water. Trick 2: Get a trim In the summer it’s the perfect time to get a trim. The hair is constantly being exposed to the sun and very dry so trim away. This will not only keep the hair healthy but will also make it easier to style. Trick 3: Stay away from heat tools. Stay away!!!! Its summer your hair doesn’t need to be perfect it’s too hot for all that. This is the perfect time to head to a braid bar or try that bobby pin up do or rock the Beyonce ponytail. It’s hot so get creative. Add some leave in conditioner and style away with some sea salt spray. Trick 4: Cover it up…use a scarf, hat, snap back ext. Covering your hair up is probably the best thing you can do if it’s really blonde or really damaged. This will ensure the sun doesn’t get to it and will guarantee your hair to stay out of harms RAYS. Trick 5: Deep Condition, Repeat. I am a hair conditioner hoarder. I love me some conditioner. Deep conditioner, leave in conditioner, hair serum conditioner , Spray conditioner, organic conditioner. Any type of conditioner is great and you can never over condition your hair unless its greasy and even then you just need to use the right methods and products . Thanks to my best friend Cristy for this blog idea. I hope this helps keep your hair summer ready. Did I miss something? Please comment and I will gladly answer your questions on products and ext.

So every now and then I run into a article that I really like. I wanted my blog to be all about me ..lol ...however credit must be given when its due so I'm going to start featuring articles I like on this page not only my face book.
That said, I really liked this article because it touched on all the products but it also gave cheaper alternatives. So here is the thing about cheaper alternatives. I am not against them they work but they only work for a window of time before they do nothing, Why? The reason why: the ingredients in cheaper products are so filtered that they become pure chemicals. Think of organic VS non organic food. The chemicals they put into cheaper products to try to match the organic products end up damaging the hair in the long run because hair is ALIVE!! Yes its alive and if you feed it badly it will look bad. So check this article out but keep in mind this is a quick fix just to get you started. Make sure you seek professional products and if you need tips please comment below and I'm glad to help.
